Today, I’m guest posting for Gigi Ross over at Kludgy Mom and sharing my thoughts on the pressures and chaos of juggling extracurricular activities for our kids. There are so many wonderful programs and sports and special classes, but how do you know which one makes sense for your child?
With three kids, a full-time career and everyday life, squeezing in these “extras” can push me and my husband over the stress ledge. Yet, I know these activities can often foster our kids’ greatest passions, help them learn about teamwork and allow them to get creative in the arts and music.
I hope you’ll click over to read my post, as I’m sure many of you can relate to the challenges of scheduling and finding the right activity for your child. I’d also encourage you to spend some time on Gigi’s site. She is one of my blog crushes, a fabulous writer and social media guru. I’m sure you’ll discover some great content that speaks to you either as a parent, blogger or social media professional.
I absolutely loved her piece about her son winning his school election, titled “I’m A Mom Of An Ordinary Kid.”
Thanks Gigi for allowing me to share some space on your site today!
